Canva Premium

  • Canva is a popular alternative to photoshop, and it’s open for all UAC groups to use!

  • It’s also a CCI account, so be sure to not disturb any of the designs that aren’t your groups.

Adding UAC to your Socials

Tagging UAC on Instagram

Follow this video for step-by-step instructions on how to tag UAC on an Instagram post!

To tag UAC on a story:

  • Create your story

  • Start adding text

  • type in @umichuac

  • Click the profile to tag!

Adding UAC and CCI as co-hosts on Facebook

  • Below your upcoming events, select the event, then click Edit.

  • Below Additional Details, click Event Settings.

  • Type “University Activities Center” and “Center for Campus Involvement” in the box and select them.

  • Click Save, then click Update.

UAC Instagram Takeovers

  • Take a look at the calendar below to make sure your requested date(s) are available

  • Send an email to Myles (mpmurph@umich.edu) or let Rigo/Allister/Randy know when you would like to do a takeover so we can add it to the calendar

PollEverywhere.com

  • Great for internal meetings or doing competitions or getting to know your audience.

  • Username: uaceboard@umich.edu

Kahoot.com

  • A classic. Amazing for competitions and quizzes. This is a premium account, so you can have a larger audience!

  • Username: UMICH_CCI

  • Password: UACShowcase

Triviamaker.com

  • Has a lot of different trivia competitions and gameshow styles, including Family Feud, Jeopardy, and many others!

  • Username: TBD

Logging into the UAC website to make changes

  • Login to squarespace.com

    • If you need the login info, contact the UAC eboard at uaceboard@umich.edu

  • Click on UAC (not Amazin’ Blue, unless you’re Amazin’ Blue and you want to edit your website)

  • Click on Student Orgs (stop here if you just need to edit the information displayed on this page)

  • Hover over the website on the righthand side, and click “edit page content”

  • Click on your group’s logo to make changes

If you would like to add your website to the UAC website, do the following:

  • Click on “Pages” on the lefthand side

  • In the “Not Linked” section, click the plus sign

  • Choose the layout of your page and edit to your liking

  • Click on settings (hover over your page name on the left and click the gear that appears)

  • To connect to the link in student orgs, click on settings and create a page title, nav title, url slug, and make sure the page is enabled.

  • Click “Save” in the top left

  • Go back to the student orgs page

  • Hover over the right hand side and click the “edit page content” that appears in the top left

  • Click on your group’s logo

  • Click edit

  • Under link, click the gear

  • Click page on the lefthand side

  • Find the page you want to link to and click “Save”
