The University Activities Center (UAC) is a premiere student-run programming board at the University of Michigan.
Our Mission: To provide the campus community with a wide array of social, artistic, cultural, and educational campus involvement programming while creating opportunities for the extra-curricular development of students through a full range of experiential learning.
UAC's quality programming is both entertaining and enriching to the lives of the students, faculty, and staff in the University community. Each of UAC's fourteen student groups involves students in the planning and execution of a wide variety of events both on and off campus. Whether it's theater, comedy, concerts, dance, quiz bowl, or movies, the University Activities Center can make it happen.
Meet the UAC Executive Board!
Since its founding in 1965, the University Activities Center has operated out of the historic Michigan Union - more specifically, suite 4002 on the 4th floor. However, since the Union's closure this past may, we've moved! UAC's headquarters are now in the Michigan League Underground.
There, UAC has equipment storage, office space, and rehearsal space with dance barres, a fully mirrored wall, and a piano.
To encourage and support other organizations on campus, UAC rents its rehearsal room to non-UAC committees free of charge. Priority booking is given to committees within the University Activities Center, so reservation days and times may be limited.
